An accomplished business executive who excelled during her competitive career in women's basketball, Stephanie Streeter was named Acting Chief Executive Officer of the United States Olympic Committee on March 5, 2009. She is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the USOC, which is recognized by the United States Congress and the International Olympic Committee as the sole entity in the United States with authority and oversight for Olympic and Paralympic activity. Streeter has also been a member of the USOC Board of Directors since May 2004.

Streeter brings a wealth of executive leadership and business management experience to the USOC. She is the former Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Banta Corporation, a global technology and market leader in printing and supply-chain management that was acquired by RR Donnelley in January 2007.

Streeter joined Banta in 2001 as President and Chief Operating Officer, and was named CEO in October 2002 and Chairman in April 2004. During her tenure, Banta enjoyed industry leading financial performance and the stock price more than doubled. At the time Streeter guided Banta through its successful acquisition, the company had grown to more than 8,000 employees worldwide with annual revenues of $1.6 billion.

Previously, she was Group Vice President for Worldwide Office Products at Avery Dennison, where she led a team of 6,500 employees with 41 operations in 27 countries. She was also COO for idealab, an internet incubator and holding company.

A graduate of Stanford University with a bachelor's degree in political science, Streeter was a four-year starter on the varsity women's basketball team and served as captain her junior and senior years. She helped the Cardinal improve from an 8-11 record during the 1976-77 campaign to 20-6 during the 1978-79 season.

Following graduation, she worked in marketing, sales and operating capacities for Automation Consultants and Xerox Corporation in Northern California, and Decision Data Computer Corporation in Pennsylvania.

In addition to her service to the United States Olympic Committee, Streeter is a member of the Board of Directors of Chicago 2016, the Green Bay Packers, the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, Kohl's Corporation, and Catalyst, the leading professional women's research and advisory organization.

She and her husband, Ed, are the parents of twins born in 2007.
